We are…
Dr. Mia Black and Azra Gojačić, a wife-and-wife team with decades of experience in the healing arts. The drive to heal our own chronic health issues and past trauma led us each on a quest to explore a vast array of healing modalities, discovering the most effective approaches for ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients. We are lifelong learners who are constantly acquiring new skills.
Each day, we support our own well-being and personal evolution through physical exercise, chi gong, meditation/visualization, and nature-based spiritual practices. It lights us up to be able to offer innovative healthcare modalities to our clients, and we find our work endlessly creative and fulfilling.

Azra grew up in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she lived through the war as a child in a combat zone. In her adulthood she spent nine years living in the New York City area, where she delved into alternative healing modalities including reiki, sound healing, Tension/Trauma Release Exercises, and polarity therapy. After experiencing a profound transformation within herself thanks to these therapies, Azra felt called to learn them herself and return to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a healing practitioner. Since 2021 she has led workshops throughout the country and region, offering Tension/Trauma Release Exercises and mineral balancing, creating opportunities for community healing across ethnic and religious divides. She has also trained as a mineral balancing consultant, and offers these various modalities remotely with veterans and their family members in the U.S., as well as individuals all over the world. Azra is very grateful that her work involves sharing her passion for healing with all that are in need of support.

Mia’s 20+ career in mental health began in 2005, driven by a deep commitment to expanding access to care where it is needed most. She has had the honor of working with teens in foster care and runaway shelters, walking with those who are striving to overcome addiction, supporting disaster recovery post-Hurricane Katrina, and being embedded in Native American, African American, and LGBTQ community mental health settings. As the spouse of a childhood survivor of war, her work has included supporting both civilians and veterans in healing from their experiences in conflict zones.
Mia completed her doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 2015 at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Disillusioned with the field of mainstream metal health and the narrative that trauma can be managed but not healed, she engaged in a passionate pursuit to find a modality that would heal root causes of trauma. This exploration led her into a sequence of psychedelic healing ceremonies in 2014, a thoroughly life-changing chapter during which she healed the complex childhood PTSD that she had been managing for many years. She pivoted her work to focus exclusively on providing psychedelic healing and other altered-states modalities that catalyze transformation, continuing to focus on the underserved communities who have always been central to her work and heart.
Since 2017, Mia has been in training/apprenticeship with Christina Pratt and Langston Kahn in the core animist and shamanic spiritual traditions practiced by our ancestors worldwide. Mia’s experience as a participant in psychedelic healing is extremely extensive, and encompasses work with all of the commonly known psychedelics as well as several lesser known ones.
Originally from New York, Mia splits her time between the U.S. and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and works remotely with people all over the world. She loves playing tennis, throwing boomerangs, beholding the many beautiful faces of nature, dancing to great music, connecting authentically with awesome humans, and creating messes on the pottery wheel.

Our mission is to support the healing of individuals, families, communities, and the natural world. We stay closely connected with social justice and environmental initiatives, believing that individual, societal, and ecological healing are intertwined. We are humanitarians at heart, who make consistent efforts to provide accessible services to marginalized and oppressed people. We have worked on a voluntary or low-cost basis with Palestinians in the West Bank, Ukrainian healthcare workers, and trauma survivors in Bosnia & Herzegovina via our NGO, Optimalne Vibracije. Each week we serve U.S. veterans and their family members through our work with Heroic Hearts, The Hope Project, and VETS. We contribute regularly to humanitarian funds, as well as organizations that promote soil & ecosystem regeneration, and support the indigenous communities who carry plant medicine traditions and keep animist wisdom alive. As radiant expands, our humanitarian efforts will grow.
